Matthew is the Articling Student at the offices of Rutman & Rutman. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Major in Criminology and Political Science. And graduated from University of Leicester Law School, obtaining his L.L.B with First Class Honors Distinction.
During his time at Law School, Matthew specialized in Equity & Trusts, Constitutional and Criminal Law, where his results were of the highest of his class. Matthew also participated in extra-circular activities, specifically the University of Leicester – Legal Advice Clinic, which provided free legal advice to the Leicester community. Matthew excelled in this role and spearheaded its development, progressing to the role of Deputy Director by his final year.
Matthew has already completed his Barrister and Solicitor Licensing examinations and is due to be called to the Ontario Bar in June of 2025.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and has committed to a routine of self-improvement, development and honing in his skills to become a successful Associate Lawyer.
